We’re partnering with a leading UK law firm to hire a mid-level associate (2–5 PQE) for their busy and dynamic capital markets and structured finance team in London. The team advises on a wide spectrum of capital markets, structured finance, and derivatives matters for some of the most prestigious global and domestic clients. You’ll work on transactions that shape markets and influence regulatory standards — gaining exposure across multiple complex, high-value deals.
- Leading advice on debt capital markets transactions, including Eurobond issuances, MTN programmes, and innovative regulatory capital deals involving blue-chip issuers and major financial institutions.
- Acting on sophisticated structured finance mandates such as RMBS, CMBS, CLOs, covered bonds, and repackaging programmes for top-tier lenders, asset managers, and private equity sponsors.
- Drafting and negotiating ISDA master agreements, credit support annexes, and bespoke derivatives documentation for global investment banks and hedge funds.
- Advising clients on derivatives transactions and hedging strategies that underpin complex financing and risk management across real estate, infrastructure, and corporate finance sectors.
- Providing guidance on EMIR, MiFID II, and other regulatory frameworks affecting structured finance and derivatives markets.
Global investment banks and financial institutions who lead market transactions and innovation, major asset managers and private equity houses structuring large-scale securitisations and fund finance deals, blue-chip corporates and real estate investment trusts (REITs) engaged in capital raising and risk management, specialist hedge funds and fintech firms driving market disruption and novel product development.
