We are one of the world’s leading brands in the consumer networking and electronics markets. Due to growth, we require a creative, dynamic and assertive PR and Social Media Executive to support the UK Marketing team based in Reading.
About you:
You’ll be a key player in our communication efforts across Social and PR, ensuring reach and engagement of our target audiences across both sides of the business, B2B and B2C.
Reporting into the Marketing Director, we’re looking for someone to join our trailblazing team and bring talent, expertise and innovation to our PR and Social Media activity. You will be responsible for managing our PR activity across our B2C and B2B brands, as well as overseeing the relationship with our PR Agency.
In Addition, you’ll be responsible for: –
- Leading the planning and execution of PR and Social Media activity to drive brand awareness and strengthen our market position.
- Collaborating with various marketing functions to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging
- You will also take the lead in crafting and executing effective social media activity, developing new approaches that help us drive reach and engage both our B2B and B2C audiences
- Social Content Planning: Manage an organised social calendar, collaborating closely with the marketing team to plan the schedule
- Content Creation: Manage content development by working with our internal designers to help create, write and edit all content.
- Collaboration with the broader marketing team and business is vital. An affinity for technology and the importance of clear and consistent benefit led communication will also be key.
- You will need to be both strategic and tactical, able to brief agencies on quarterly plans, as well as offer agency support, when required, on product enquiries and business stories.
Requirements: We are looking for someone with around 3 years’ PR & Social Media management experience, either client side or agency.
We need someone with an understanding of modern PR, organic social, content and influencer marketing.
You will have an instinct for storytelling, be a natural writer, perhaps even have a knack for strong captions, as well as an eye for design.
You’ll have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective PR activity and Social Media campaigns.
