Procurement Manager

Location: London – 2/3 days a week

Salary: £50,000–£65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

A major client who isfocused on reshaping the journey to Net Zero for B2B and public sector organisations, from free energy audits to tailored solutions for LED lighting, solar power, and EV charging is looking for a highly organized and commercially astute Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient sourcing and supply of materials for our projects, driving cost efficiencies, and maintaining robust supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing & Procurement: Take ownership of sourcing and procuring materials such as solar panels, scaffolding, and LED components for all projects.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and suppliers to ensure materials are delivered to sites as per project timelines.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Develop and maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all materials to ensure inventory accuracy and project alignment.
  • Supplier Management: Conduct regular supplier reviews to secure competitive pricing, improve terms, and assess performance.
  • Forecasting: Work closely with the sales and operations teams to forecast material requirements based on secured business for the quarter or half-year.
  • Cost Efficiency: Identify and implement opportunities to optimize the supply chain, driving efficiencies and cost savings across projects.
