About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Senior Dynamics 365 CEFunctional Consultant to join our Client Services team, working with customers on continuous improvement initiatives for the membership sector under our SmartTransform Flex and Pro offerings. Unlike traditional fixed-term projects, this role focuses on managing ongoing customer relationships and delivering system enhancements through an Agile delivery model. Your work will drive value for membership organisations by enabling their systems to meet regulatory compliance, underpin clients’ member services, and improve member self-service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborative Consulting: Lead customers to identify, scope, and prioritise system improvements that align with their business objectives, focusing on member-centric solutions such as membership and event management, CPD, customer journeys, self-service portals, payment processing, and regulatory updates.
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct workshops to elicit clear and actionable requirements, emphasising low-code/no-code solutions before involving developers.
- Agile Delivery Management: Create and maintain a structured backlog in Azure DevOps (ADO) and collaborate with customers to organise iterative sprints.
- Solution Design: Translate customer needs into innovative solutions that balance technical feasibility and business value, documenting designs with clear specifications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build trust with senior stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions about their systems and the services they deliver to their members.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Functional Consultant role , preferably in a Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.
- Strong experience with Dynamics CE and tools in the Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, Canvas Apps, and Azure).
- Proficiency in business process mapping, requirements analysis, and producing detailed functional specifications.
- Ability to converse with clients, understand and solve problems, and build trust at a senior level.
- Commercial awareness to align system enhancements with customer business strategies and value propositions.
