Senior User Experience Specialist is sought to join a high-performing Experience team at the heart of a progressive and customer-first insurance organisation. You'll champion user-centred design and drive strategic UX initiatives that redefine how customers interact with digital products and services.

You will own and lead initiatives to identify, explore and validate opportunities for innovation and enhancement within their digital products and services. This will include driving projects from discovery through to development hand-off, ensuring that design solutions are both user-centric and aligned with business goals across the business on wide-ranging projects spanning multiple brands and business areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead discovery-to-delivery UX initiatives across complex digital platforms and business areas.
  • Own and evolve design systems to support consistent, scalable design across brands.
  • Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, journey mapping, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Translate insights from qualitative and quantitative research into validated, user-centric experiences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, content, SEO, development, and brand teams.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to the maturity of UX processes and standards.
  • Ensure experiences are inclusive and accessible across devices, platforms, and user groups.
  • Continuously test, optimise, and iterate based on user behaviour, data and feedback.
Key Requirements:
  • Significant UX experience across responsive and multi-device platforms.
  • A robust portfolio showing end-to-end UX methodology, future visioning and design strategy.
  • Deep understanding of user-centred design, accessibility (WCAG), and usability standards.
  • Highly proficient in Figma, prototyping, and conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Strong communicator and influencer - able to champion UX with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience applying design thinking, lean experimentation and journey mapping.
  • Experience with customer experience optimisation, A/B testing and analytics tools.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative with a natural curiosity for digital innovation.
  • Exposure to both B2C and B2B environments; agency experience is a bonus.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a strategic UX leadership role where your design thinking will shape customer journeys across a diverse and evolving product landscape. You'll enjoy the freedom to innovate, the support of a strong digital culture, and the tools to deliver at scale.
