We are looking for an experienced and proactive Account Manager with a background in selling to the legal sector to join our team. This role is a hybrid role that includes both new business opportunities, active participation in legal events nationwide and successfully retaining and growing revenues from our client's most strategically valuable clients. The focus of this role will be on Business Law clients which includes Corporate Due Diligence and Insights, Company Formations and Corporate Secretarial, and Entity Management.
Even though you will work within the Business Law team to ensure that existing and prospective clients in this area are managed and supported, you will also collaborate closely with the wider UK Sales team and management to ensure that best practices and internal policies and procedures are followed.
Specific Responsibilities:- Global Sales: Collaborate with various sales teams (included within our Global Sales) to create/develop a single solution for Global Law Firms.
- Target: This is a targeted business development and Account Management role, with the expectations of achieving or exceeding target.
- Account Management: Remain in regular contact with existing clients; develop strong relationships with multiple key stakeholders, building trust in you, the Group and our product, service and solutions offering. Strive to capture a high percentage of clients' annual spend with our client.
- Client Intelligence: Obtain and share insight and feedback from clients on products they are using and their requirements for new products/solutions. Understand the client's organisation structure, business model and strategies to align with the sales process.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within law firms and legal organizations.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Business Law solutions and articulate how they address specific challenges faced by legal professionals and Financial/Accountancy firms.
- Consultative Selling: Utilise a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet those requirements effectively. Were required and applicable, cross-sell and upsell.
- Competitive Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to position our solutions effectively in the legal sector.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure alignment of strategies and effective communication of product features and benefits.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the management team.
- Cold Calling: While our business regularly receives numerous incoming leads each month, it is part of your role to supplement this by making cold calls and reach out to former clients to re-activate/revive relationships with former clients. You are also expected to collaborate with other parts of the business to leverage existing our client client base.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience with a proven successful track record in B2B Sales, meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience working with large client accounts is a must.
- Industry Knowledge: Minimum of 2 years' experience within the legal sector and familiarity with legal software solutions in the corporate legal sector.
- Skills: Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and compelling manner.
- Self-Motivated: Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable with technology and able to quickly grasp the technical aspects of our solutions.
- Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing risks and issues.
- Result Oriented: Ability to execute plans and achieve results in a collaborative and timely manner.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with SaaS products, subscription business models, and software procurement best practices.
