Embark on an exciting journey as a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer with our client, a leading ground investigation contractor providing expert site investigation services across the UK for over a decade. Founded in early 2000, our client has grown and expanded to become a leading independent site investigation consultant and contractor operating within the contaminated land, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, ground engineering and engineering geology within the construction industry with particular focus on site investigation of Previously Developed Land, Brownfield land and Greenfield land, for all Environmental and Geotechnical projects.
Due to expansion, in this permanent role, you will have the opportunity to apply your geology and geoenvironmental expertise to deliver high-quality geotechnical and geo-environmental solutions for a diverse range of clients and projects.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our talented team of consultants and contractors.
- Lead the design and execution of site-based testing programmes, ensuring efficient and compliant delivery.
- Produce, review, and approve technical reports that meet industry and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with laboratories to manage sample logistics, testing schedules, and results verification.
- Prepare quotations and tenders for small to medium-scale projects, and contribute to larger bids and framework agreements.
- Mentor and support the development of junior engineers, technicians, and drillers through on-the-job guidance and knowledge sharing.
Extensive experience in geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigations, with a strong understanding of the construction and civil engineering industry is required. Proven track record in managing projects from inception to completion, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Proven experience managing geotechnical and geo-environmental projects across a range of sectors. Strong technical reporting skills and experience with UK regulatory frameworks and site investigation standards. Commercial awareness with demonstrable experience of quoting, budgeting, and cost control.
Pay range and compensation package:
