Your Role:

As a Construction NVQ Assessor, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting candidates through their qualifications, ensuring they meet industry standards. You will collaborate closely with our senior IQAs and assessors to uphold our high-quality delivery standards.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking passionate professionals who can assess a variety of NVQs, with the following competencies and experience:

  • Site Management NVQs (Level 6 - 7)
  • Various Trade NVQs (Level 2 - 3)

If you hold an IQA qualification, that’s a big plus!

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in the construction industry, ideally with Construction Site Supervision/Management experience.
  • Proficiency with e-portfolio systems (Quals Direct), as all our portfolios are managed online.
  • Willingness to visit candidates on-site when required. (We’ll cover expenses and offer a car allowance for regular travel.)

Required Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must hold one of the following assessor/verifier qualifications:

  • A1/A2, V1/V2, or D32/33/34
  • Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
  • Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement
  • Relevant Trade NVQ (e.g., Level 2 NVQ in Site Carpentry)
  • Level 6 or 7 NVQ in Construction Site Management or Occupational Health & Safety
