Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a role that will invest in you with specialist training budgets and also progression routes to senior and even director level? If so, a client of mine that is a leading name in advanced manufacturing is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its highly skilled Engineering team based at a flagship facility in Walsall.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an engineer to step into a technically varied, hands-on role at a company that invests heavily in training, encourages cross-site collaboration, and offers outstanding overtime pay and benefits.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering routine and preventive maintenance across a wide range of engineering systems and equipment
  • Rapidly diagnosing and proposing solutions to breakdowns and failures
  • Improving performance, efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness across all engineering activities
  • Using engineering software (including CMMS) to plan and manage maintenance
  • Supporting design modifications and contributing to new tooling and electrical/mechanical system development
  • Working closely with other UK engineering sites to share best practice
  • Maintaining documentation, CAD drawings, parts control, and compliance with key industry standards (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, 50001, 1090-CE)

What You’ll Need

  • HNC/City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering (essential)
  • Latest electrical qualifications (18th edition or equivalent)
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Multi-skilled background

  • Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts between 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm)
  • Overtime: Paid at enhanced rates – x1.3 weekdays, x1.5 Saturdays, x2 Sundays
