Our client, a leading defence prime, are now hiring for experienced Security Engineers to lead and manage product security across the full development lifecycle for defence and government systems.
You’ll drive security risk assessments, define requirements, guide development teams, and ensure compliance with UK and NATO security standards. You’ll work closely with accreditors, SMEs, and project engineering teams to ensure robust and resilient security solutions.
- Conduct security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Define and maintain security requirements throughout the product lifecycle
- Support security accreditation and liaise with external security bodies
- Lead security incident response and support ongoing vulnerability/patch management
- Create and maintain product security documentation and training
Experience securing military or commercial systems is required, along with a relevant degree and/or NCSC-recognised security certifications (e.g., practical experience in accreditation and security evaluations).
