We currently have existing roles for Senior Power Supply Design Engineers who will be working on the development of isolated DC/DC converters and AC/DC converters for industrial energy, medical, and automotive applications. Jobs are based in Hertfordshire, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire, Cambridge, and also Germany. The Cambridge-based role is paying up to £110k.
Other responsibilities will include leading the design from specification through to manufacture and assisting with training and mentoring the engineering team. Additionally, there will be an expectation to solve complex technical and commercial issues.
The successful candidate will have a proven background in power supply, preferably with a relevant degree or equivalent, along with:
- Experience of analogue power conversion or analogue IC design
- Experience in analogue circuit simulation
- Testing and verification
- Knowledge of DC/DC and AC/DC converters from 1W to 100W
- An understanding or experience in the development of magnetics would also be of interest.
The company offers an excellent salary and benefits package, with a friendly and flexible working environment. Please note we also have power supply roles in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, and Cambridge. The Oxfordshire role is paying up to £80k, and the Cambridge role up to £120k.
