As a German Teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to teach German across Key Stages 3-5, inspiring students of all abilities and nurturing their language learning journey. What you\’ll do as a German Teacher: * Deliver engaging and innovative German lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and language levels. * Create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to communicate in German and develop their language skills. * Teach a variety of German grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, fostering students\’ understanding of the language structure. * Incorporate authentic materials and cultural activities into your lessons, bringing the German language and culture to life. * Assess and monitor student progress in German, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. * Contribute to the development of the German curriculum and departmental resources, ensuring that our teaching remains current and engaging. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of German teaching. What you\’ll need to be a successful German Teacher: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * A degree in German or a related field. * Experience teaching German at the secondary level. * A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for German. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. * A passion for the German language and culture and a commitment to inspiring students.
