The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a junior lawyer to work on high-profile restructuring and insolvency matters, collaborating with market-leading clients across a range of industries, including energy, telecommunications, and manufacturing. The role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions on complex, cross-border matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting on complex restructuring transactions, including UK restructuring plans and Chapter 11 cases.
- Advising creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders on restructuring strategies and recapitalisation.
- Conducting legal research and drafting documentation for cross-border matters.
- Working closely with the wider team to deliver commercially focused solutions to clients.
- Supporting partners and senior associates in managing transactions efficiently and effectively.
Key Requirements:
- 0-1 PQE
- Strong academic background with experience in restructuring, insolvency, or general corporate work.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills.
- A proactive, client-focused approach, with a keen interest in restructuring law.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
