Leading international law firm is hiring a new Enterprise Risk Manager to design and implement and, thereafter, support an Enterprise Risk Management framework at the firm, which is intended to improve the assessment of risk across the firm and thereby improve management and strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities for the Enterprise Risk Manager:

  • Lead on the development and implementation of a new Enterprise Risk Management Frameworks, including the production of the necessary policies and procedures
  • Select and maintain an appropriate set of reporting tools
  • Identify, assess, and monitor risks across the organisation in line with the ERM Framework in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders, to ensure they are effectively managed
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to integrate risk management practices into business processes. Build and maintain good relationships with all relevant stakeholders across the firm
  • Provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies and recommend improvements to internal controls where requested
  • Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and other third parties on matters related to enterprise risk management.

Key Requirements and Skills for the Enterprise Risk Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, risk or finance or other related area
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in enterprise risk management within a professional services or corporate environment delivering successful risk management outcomes
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to lead and deliver change within areas of responsibility
