Are you local to Shropshire? We are currently looking to expand our existing pool of supply teachers and we need you! We work with Secondary schools across the Shropshire area, ranging from large academies within MATs to smaller independent schools.

We pride ourselves on an excellent standard of service to our supply staff and schools. Our dedicated consultants are always on hand with your best interests at heart!

The Role:

As a TARA Supply Teacher, you are in the driving seat. You choose how many days a week you want to work and which days you would like. It can provide variety in your day-to-day activities, giving you the opportunity to work in different types of schools while also improving your work-life balance with no marking or preparation on day-to-day supply.

Tara asks that applicants have the following:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience teaching in KS3 & KS4
  • A good level of classroom management
  • A passion for working with young people
  • Safeguarding training (with Certificate) - we can provide a course if you don't have this
  • A current DBS on the update service - we can apply for a new one if you don't have one
