Smartwatch Solutions is a growing security services supplier providing CCTV, Security Guarding and associated security services to clients across the construction industry and UK infrastructure. Our year on year growth means we need more people with the right attitude to help us deliver our services to a high level of service, and assist us in our continued growth.
As a CCTV Engineer, some of your responsibilities will include the following:
- Carry out installation (temporary and permanent), maintenance, de-fits and commissioning on CCTV systems within a geographical area.
- Carry out installation and commission on access control systems within a geographical area.
- Configure systems to meet the design specification and customer requirements.
- Respond to fault calls on all types of CCTV.
- Plan and respond to routine and reactive call visits in your area when required.
- Be able to complete all company documentation on a job by job basis.
- Any other reasonable requests from the management to meet the needs of the business.
To apply you should be able to demonstrate the following:
- 2+ years experience in CCTV (analogue and IP) and access control installation.
- Good technical knowledge.
- Highly organised, works efficiently and has an attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good at engaging with clients and other stakeholders.
- Enjoys working as part of a structured team but confident to work independently.
- Be able to meet tight deadlines.
- Good work ethic and be able to encourage others to do well.
- Want to be part of a growing engineering team and being involved in some great installations/clients.
What qualifications do you need?
- Strong understanding of CCTV and access control systems including detection methods and analytics.
- IT literate.
- Experience in running, mentoring and assisting other engineers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
- Good fault finding skills.
- Practical experience of general, electrical and electronic principles.
- CSCS/ECS Operatives Card (Provided by Smartwatch).
- Full driving license (Max. 6 points).
- CCTV qualifications PASMA and IPAF are preferable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: 30k to 37k p.a - Dependent on experience.
