Our client, a Global Investment Manager, is seeking out a Senior Compensation Specialist to join their London team and focus on their compensation offerings as part of a small Reward team. Reporting in the Head of Reward, you will be supporting the wider business and HR team in developing competitive compensation programmes for the firm's local European client groups, ensuring the business offers competitive packages versus other businesses in the Financial Services, keeping the brand name highly attractive to top talent globally.
This is an exciting role particularly as you will be part of the team that brings impact in both the long and short term to the business and will have opportunities to be involved in illustrating the differing trends in compensation both internally and externally and aligning these to the firm's future goals as well as ensuring regulatory compliance as needed. By liaising and building up relationships with your key stakeholders as well as understanding the needs of your team, you will be able to put your analytical skills to the test and identify new ways to drive value for the business.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Utilising WorkDay and other HRIS to extract compensation data
- Modelling and analysing different trends in compensation, including accounting for current results on D&I trends
- Overseeing various compensation initiatives and identifying new areas for improvement, aligning the firm's compensation schemes with current market trends
- Supporting the Head of Reward on Rem-Co papers and in attendance to the meetings
- Lead on all regulatory reporting requirements, including MRT and IFR
- Be the SME on all deferred and executive compensation matters for both the UK and wider European offices
The ideal candidate for this role will be a truly experienced compensation professional, who has had hands-on experience working within the financial services industry within reward, preferably with knowledge of working with executive-level reward and exposure to Rem-Co.
Your understanding of data analytics within reward and how this is key to your work will be of high regard, and they will be able to come to the role with examples of key developments and improvements they have made in their previous role.
A rare opportunity in the market for a permanent compensation professional, and all this within a firm with a continuing desire to foster its ‘best in class’ culture. You will be joining a truly inclusive business that has its employees at the core of everything they do.
