The Role
Are you ready to contribute to projects at the forefront of sustainable energy and construction? We are looking for a motivated CAD Technician to join our experienced team working on one of the UK’s largest sustainable estate transformation programmes.
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, including:
- EV Charging Stations, featuring ultra-fast units powered by renewable energy.
- Hydrogen production facilities and energy-saving programmes.
- Retail upgrades and cutting-edge service station designs.
Your Contribution
As a CAD Technician, you will:
- Produce designs ranging from feasibility sketches to detailed specifications.
- Monitor multiple projects at various design stages.
- Ensure compliance with industry and health and safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including clients, designers, and project teams.
- Support the team in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.
Skills & Experience
We’re looking for candidates with:
- A minimum of 1 year of CAD drafting experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Knowledge of design and engineering principles.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience in construction or civil engineering is beneficial, with roadside retail or energy sector experience an advantage.
- A willingness to travel to UK sites as needed and a valid driving license.
