Responsibilities within your new role as an Accountant The role involves producing monthly management accounts for two businesses using SAP R3, ensuring data integrity, and meeting tight deadlines. Responsibilities include managing treasury functions, accounts payable/receivable, stock control, payroll, and company insurances, as well as overseeing statutory accounts, audit compliance, and Companies House filings. Leading a team of five in Paisley, the role provides financial and legal support to management while advising on SAP best practices. Your personality, experience and qualifications The ideal candidate for this position is a qualified accountant (ICAS or ACCA) with essential SAP system experience and strong Excel skills. A background in manufacturing and prior experience working for an international group is preferred. The role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of delivering accurate financial data under tight deadlines while taking a proactive and analytical approach. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage financial functions remotely and should be willing to travel to business locations across the UK, particularly Northeast England.
