King's High School is seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative Science Technician. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and people skills, a positive mindset, and a forward-thinking approach to supporting Science education in a busy school Science Department. The post-holder will be able to work to deadlines, multitask effectively and work flexibly within a team. They will need an excellent awareness of the health and safety regulations.
Responsible to: The Lead Science Technician and the Head of Science
The role is full-time (term time only), working 38.75 hours per week Term-time only, plus 1 week in the holidays. For the right candidate, the hours of working could be flexible and we could consider part-time.
Salary: Foundation payscale point 16 (FTE: £23,800 pa) to point 19 (FTE: £25,249 pa) which is equivalent to actual salary £20,435 to £21,679 per annum respectively.
