We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service in the hospitality industry. As a Catering Supervisor, you will oversee food production and preparation, ensuring that all catering events are executed flawlessly while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

  • Supervise and manage the catering team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Coordinate food production and preparation for various events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout all catering processes.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences, ensuring satisfaction with service provided.
  • Train and mentor staff in food preparation techniques, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and client feedback.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
  • Ensure that all catering equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after each event.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or catering industry.
  • Strong background in food production, preparation, and safety practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Experience in restaurant or catering operations is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of bartending practices is a plus but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and team members alike.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality service in fast-paced environments.
