We’re looking for an ambitious, self-motivated Delegate Sales Executive to join our team. You’ll sell delegate passes for a range of leading global events, with a focus on a major launch event in the Middle East. This role is key in making sure we have the right people attending — helping shape the success and marketing of each event.
You’ll build strong relationships with industry professionals and senior stakeholders, working closely with our internal marketing and content teams. We’re looking for someone with past sales experience, great communication skills, and the ability to meet targets through high-volume outreach and smart relationship-building.
Key responsibilities:
- Secure event attendees (buy-side and vendors) over the phone
- Sell to existing and new clients to meet revenue goals
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through a consultative sales approach
- Reach weekly and monthly outreach targets
- Identify and pursue new leads or sub-sectors for growth
- Upsell additional delegate places to sponsors and exhibitors
- Track sales progress in reports and pipeline meetings
- Travel to industry events and VIP functions as needed
- Share market insights and feedback with the team
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in delegate, sponsorship, or media sales
- Strong track record of hitting or exceeding targets
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Understanding of the sales cycle and lead generation
- Ability to prioritise leads and spot commercial opportunities
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Pardot is a plus
- Industry knowledge is helpful but not essential
