My client is a global logistics business that operates across 6 continents, supporting customers around the world.
Your new role
As an HR Advisor (generalist), you will join the business on a 12-month FTC to cover a period of maternity leave, reporting to a kind and supportive HR Manager in a team of 3.
You will be responsible for assisting the HR function in Southampton across 2 sites to provide a customer-focused service to key stakeholders, using a business-partnering approach to assist the function to implement and execute global and local HR initiatives. The role will assist with the introduction and development of tools for consistent and efficient use and interpretation of HR policies, processes, procedures and initiatives in the UK.
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, that offers hybrid working – 3 days Southampton office vs 2 days WFH after the first couple of weeks. Applications will be reviewed on Friday 23rd May.
What you\’ll need to succeed
This opportunity will suit an experienced, flexible HR generalist with great attention to detail who is happy to roll their sleeves up and work in a varied role as required, from day-to-day transactional HR administration, through to managing ER casework, supporting L&D / training and managing HRIS processes (Workday preferred). You must be CIPD level 5 qualified (or equivalent) to be considered for this role.
