We are seeking an experienced Site Manager / Caretaker to ensure the premises are well managed and maintained, providing excellent facilities for the school.

As the Site Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Caretaking: Ensuring the site is always clean and tidy, be the main key holder and first response for emergency call outs, manage the use of the car park, removal of rubbish and waste.
  • Cleaning: Monitoring the cleaning contractors, dealing with spillages, cleaning soft furnishings, refill and replace consumables.
  • Estates Maintenance: Record all repairs, undertake minor works including painting, decorating, minor repairs, plumbing & carpentry.
  • Internal Events: Setting up for events, building stages and moving chairs.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Support in carrying out inspections, patrol the site for hazards, provide a first point of contact for all contractors.

The successful Site Manager will have the following related skills / experience:

  • Previous facilities experience, covering buildings and mechanical and electrical services.
  • BIFM level 4 is preferred.
  • NEBOSH health and safety qualification is preferred.
  • A background in managing workplace health and safety and fire safety compliance.
