We are seeking a kind, patient, and reliable individual to provide 1:1 care for a young woman in her 30s who lives independently in her own home.
About the Role:
- Schedule: One 24-hour shift per week, every Thursday (includes overnight stay).
- Accommodation: A staff bedroom is available for overnight use.
- Location: Based at the client’s home (car provided for use during the shift).
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the client with daily living activities including cooking, cleaning, and general household tasks.
- Accompanying the client to a variety of recreational and social activities such as swimming, multisport sessions, theatre, cinema, bowling, and community events.
Requirements:
- A kind, patient nature and a good sense of humour are essential.
- Must be relatively active to support the client in her physical and social activities.
- Experience in care is preferred but not essential - the right attitude is more important.
- A full, clean driving licence is required.
- Must be comfortable driving; a car is provided for use during the shift.
Pay:
- £12.21 per daytime hours (07.00 - 23.00).
- The evening hours (23.00 - 07.00) is £35 in total which is a sleep over rate.
- Potential for additional hours in the future.
