Position Overview
This role would suit a Senior Engineer / Supervisor looking to get off the tools into a Project Management role. Understanding of Security systems is a must, ideally enterprise level but all access control and CCTV systems considered. You will oversee multiple installation projects, primarily within the London area but with occasional travel to other locations. You'll be responsible for ensuring that each project is executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all company, client, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to company and client-specific procedures, as well as NACOSS standards.
- Cost Monitoring: Track and review financial expenses on projects weekly, generating monthly financial reports for the Project Manager.
- Health & Safety: Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations across all project sites.
- Communication: Liaise regularly with all project stakeholders to provide updates and address issues.
- Issue Resolution: Work with the Project Manager and Technical Services to solve technical issues as they arise.
- Project Documentation: Prepare, organize, and manage all project documentation to support productive contract reviews and ongoing project assessments.
- Programming & Scheduling: Develop accurate project schedules in alignment with tender specifications and main contractor timelines.
- Document Control: Oversee the issuance and management of project drawings, ensuring all updates from approval to as-fitted stages are tracked.
- Manuals & Testing: Coordinate thorough testing, commissioning, and issuance of operation and maintenance manuals upon project completion.
- Project Handover: Ensure projects are fully signed off and handed over to the client, with a clear completion status.
- Tender Review: Analyze tenders thoroughly before project launch, flagging any issues or concerns with the Project Manager.
- On-Site Support: Provide support to Field Technicians on-site, addressing any queries or problems promptly.

- Experience: Previous project management or site coordination experience is useful, within the Security industry. Or previous hands-on Engineering experience within Installation ideally, now looking for a step into Project Management.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills; strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety regulations and industry standards (NACOSS knowledge is a plus).
