Role Overview: Procurement / Buyer / Sourcing / Purchasing Specialist
The Vertical Lift Supplier Management and Procurement team offers 3 exciting opportunities within its Aircraft Support division. The roles involves partnering with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to enhance service delivery while ensuring excellence across all business interactions.
The 3 (three) Roles:
These focus on the following if you have experience in one or more of these areas, it would be great to hear from you:
- Role 1: Facilities management, Infrastructure & off aircraft activities
- Role 2: Aircraft General Spares, MRO, consumables, chemicals
- Role 3: Key Suppliers, OEMs
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts for products, services, and technologies, including pricing and terms.
- Integrate programme, customer, and product strategies into sourcing and contracting processes.
- Prepare and execute contractual documents and binding agreements.
- Manage supplier performance, ensuring quality, delivery, financial stability, and in-service outcomes.
- Mitigate risks and resolve issues, initiating supplier improvement activities.
- Analyse demand and supply trends and execute proprietary information agreements.
- Support sourcing strategies and document contracts and agreements.
- Communicate performance expectations and evaluate supplier metrics.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Aviation & Aerospace is ideal but not essential
- 2-4 years of relevant experience with proficiency in commodities and SAP/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives and tool development.
- Adaptable and globally minded with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
