Advisory Teacher Location: Haringey Council Contract: Initial 3 Months Hours: 36 hours per week Rate: £35 per hour (via Umbrella) – (£27 PAYE an hour)Haringey Council is seeking an experienced and passionate Advisory Teacher to join our dedicated team, working to improve the educational outcomes for Children in Care , Care Leavers , and Previously Looked After Children .About the Role As an Advisory Teacher, you will use your extensive knowledge of education and the care system to make a measurable difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people. You will: Advise, support, and challenge school leaders, Designated Teachers, social workers, and college staff to identify and remove barriers to educational success. Develop and help implement strategies to improve attainment , progress, attendance, and engagement. Deliver high-quality training and support to foster carers, social workers, and education professionals. Ensure that statutory duties and best practice standards are consistently met.
