- Review the application packaging requirements including dependencies.
- Source the MSI installers via the license team, application Vendors, inhouse teams or the Internet.
- Source any dependencies and test any connections required to run the installer.
- Update the Application Discovery documentation with everything the Packager may require to complete the job.
- Once the package has been created run simple QA steps prior to deployment to Intune.
Skills:
- Packaging experience, knowledge of EXE, MSI, MSIX, App-V, Win 32/64.
- Worked with SSCM & Intune as a deployment tool.
- Technical understanding of networking as it relates to application packaging.
- Knowledge of Elevated administrator rights within the installer.
