Our client is the only UK-wide charity dedicated to uniting for a life unlimited for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis. They are working towards a brighter future for everyone with cystic fibrosis (CF) by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.
This is a pivotal role in the Fundraising Directorate as one of three Heads making up their Fundraising Leadership Team and provides an opportunity for an Individual Giving expert and leader with a passion for delivering excellent supporter experiences.
You will be joining a supportive and ambitious team as they embark on a new fundraising strategy (2025-2029), with a renewed focus on growing their supporter numbers alongside growing their income, so they can increase their impact for people with cystic fibrosis.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and motivate the Individual Giving, Legacy and In-Memory, and Supporter Care teams
- Facilitate a culture of collaboration, innovation, efficiency and keeping our supporters front and centre
- Set the direction, budget and KPIs to ensure they meet their income targets and grow and retain their core income streams
- Regularly review our programmes to ensure they are maximising return on investment, capitalising on latest trends and learning as they go
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Trust to develop and implement a Supporter Experience Strategy that results in their supporters feeling valued, respected and with them for the long-term
They are looking for someone who has strategic experience of developing and delivering successful individual giving and ideally legacy programmes, is results-focused, with great leadership and relationship building skills. You will have a love for both data and words, and an enthusiasm for using ideas and data to help raise more money in effective ways.
