A tech leading consultancy is seeking an experienced JavaScript / React Developer to help deliver a high-impact UI/UX-led platform, targeted for deployment with a major client. This is a fast-paced contract within a small, focused product squad, with immediate delivery expectations and a strong emphasis on design-led development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on the development of high-quality, responsive front-end features
- Translate product and UX designs into performant, maintainable code
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and full-stack engineers
- Ensure accessibility, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
- Contribute to component libraries and reusable design systems
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in modern front-end development using React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js
- Experience using Chakra UI and react-hook-form in production environments
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
- Exposure to AWS Cloud services
- Strong eye for design, layout, and usability - ideally with design or creative background
- Comfortable working in small agile teams under tight deadlines
- Strong portfolio of front-end builds with a focus on UX/UI excellence
