Job Description: Cybersecurity Analyst
Contract (Inside IR35)
Location-London
Industry: Cloud Services, Application Infrastructure, Application Server
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Understanding & Product Familiarization: Develop a clear understanding of the client’s cybersecurity environment and associated products.
2. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot cybersecurity issues and related monitoring tools.
3. Incident Analysis & RCA Support: Analyze and validate cybersecurity incidents in detail, assisting the L3 team with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), data, and log collection.
4. Knowledge Transfer & Documentation: Create and maintain configuration documents, test plans, and operational manuals. Provide operational training to the L1 team.
5. Cybersecurity Policy Management: Analyze and fine-tune cybersecurity policies. Participate in review calls related to change requests and recommendations for policy changes.
6. Change Implementation & Performance Tuning: Implement changes to cybersecurity systems, monitor security device performance, and perform necessary performance tuning.
7. Progress Reporting: Prepare detailed reports to track project progress, identify challenges, and ensure quality and accuracy for the client.
Required Skills:
• Strong technical skills in cybersecurity.
• Experience in OT, pharma, or manufacturing industry IT practices is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
• Proactive problem-solving attitude and a drive for task completion.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Presentation skills are a plus.
