NRL have exciting opportunities for Senior and Principal Mechanical Design Engineers with one of our leading clients, Tenet Consultants Ltd. They are an innovative multi-discipline engineering and design consultancy, with headquarters in Warrington. Tenet have now opened up a new office in Anglesey, North Wales and are seeking to engage local personnel to join their team.
As an Engineering Design Consultancy, Tenet provide niche design and technical services to a variety of industry sectors, primarily Nuclear. Their mechanical design activities include, but are not limited to:
- Concept & Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Studies
- Equipment Specification
- Detail Design
- Engineering Substantiation
- Specialist Mechanical Handling Design
- Mechanical Piping Design
- Manufacture installation and Commissioning Support
- Periodic Safety Reviews
- Lifetime Quality Records (LQR)
- Safety System Design
- Independent Nuclear Safety Assessment (INSA) & Peer Review
What You Will Need:
- Experience working within a highly regulated industry, preferably Nuclear.
- HNC minimum, ideally degree qualified and a Chartered Engineer.
- Able to lead teams and develop younger engineers.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform mechanical design calculations, produce technical specifications and requisitions, datasheets, perform technical bid evaluations.
- Checking of design documentation.
- All candidates must have the ability to obtain BPSS.
- AutoCAD, Inventor, General Microsoft Office package.
