Fleet Workshop Manager

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to join Leeds City Council\’s Fleet Services on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday.

The Role:

• The Workshop Manager is responsible for the overall management of our vehicle maintenance operation and workshop.
• The postholder will provide a lead in the management and delivery of a customer focussed, safe, efficient, and comprehensive repairs and maintenance service through our in-house workshop.
• The Workshop Manager will work closely with the Fleet General Manager in supporting with the strategic management of the fleet operations service.
• Key responsibilities are to ensure vehicles are maintained in line with Operator Licence obligations and the service is compliance with all statutory and regulatory guidelines including DVSA, Road Traffic Act and Health and Safety at Work Act.

Requirements:

• Previous experience of working as a Workshop or Fleet Services Manager
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines including DVSA, Road Traffic Act, and Health and Safety at Work Act
• Relevant Qualification
