This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of safety initiatives across a large facility while enjoying support with further development with your Health and Safety qualifications and skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in ensuring the site is compliant with both UK legislation and in line with wider group strategy for health and safety.
- Delivering Risk Assessments across the site whilst accurately reporting on health and safety performance.
- Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff and external regulators.
- Providing health and safety support across the site and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop health and safety.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within Manufacturing or a related industry.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (desirable).
- Environmental qualifications such as IEMA Certificate or equivalent (desirable).
- A hands-on and visible approach, with the ability to be present across the site and actively engage with teams at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence and support colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders.
- An enthusiastic, positive, and proactive attitude toward health, safety, and environmental best practices.
