What you will do as a Junior Bartender:
- To be fully aware of and adhere to Rakes Café Bar standards at all times.
- To be responsible for any float issued to you, and ensure it is returned counted and correct to the cashier at the end of your shift.
- To treat all members of our team with a professional and friendly manner.
- To follow set sequence of service and service standards, up selling and making food and drink recommendations where appropriate.
- To take all orders from guests in a professional manner.
- To follow set cleaning, opening and closing standards as specified.
- To report all guest complaints and concerns to the floor manager on duty immediately, and follow up where required.
- To have full working knowledge of the micros ordering system.
- To take responsibility for the presentation and payment of a guest check.
- To fully hand over bar covers at lunch by completing an open check report when taking an official break and when finishing a shift.
- To work as a team member and assist in building an efficient team by taking an active interest in our department. This includes communicating effectively between other waiters, runners and management.
- To have full knowledge of opening and closing times, to follow correct timings with regard to last orders for alcohol. (To ensure last food orders are taken in good time)
