The COMPANY
Our engineering OEM and factoring/distribution client has been at the forefront of manufacturing niche electronic products/technology, including in the renewables sector, for several decades. They are the acknowledged market leaders in the design and manufacture of products in their specialist field, having gained an enviable reputation for both quality and after-sales service.
The ROLE
Due to continued expansion, an Electrical/Electronics engineer is required to design and cost off-grid power solutions. Involved with all aspects of the project from conception, design, quoting and finally through to production. This is a very hands-on role covering system design & building and liaising with clients throughout the process. Minutia of the role includes:
- Answering technical questions
- Reviewing customer specifications
- Designing renewable energy systems to ensure their power requirements are met
- Providing system designs and costings to clients
The CANDIDATE
The right Electrical/Electronics Design Engineer will possess:
- A strong relevant qualification
- Engineering experience
- Client-facing experience would be helpful
- Good electrical knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- A practical approach
- CAD skills would be advantageous, but are not essential
Salary - Dependent on experience + bonus
