Criminal Solicitor (Belfast)

We are working with a specialist law firm based in Belfast for a newly qualified Criminal Solicitor to join their team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a specialist criminal team, providing legal representation to clients from the earliest stages of investigation to court proceedings and appeals.

The solicitor will attend police stations to advise clients during interviews, prepare cases for court, and represent individuals in the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts. The role will involve drafting legal documents and liaising with counsel and expert witnesses.

Essential Criteria:

• NQ solicitor;
• Criminal law background desirable but not essential;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Technically excellent;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
