Hedin Automotive BMW & MINI is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Bodyshop Estimator to join our new purpose-built Accident Repair Centre. This is a great opportunity to develop your career with one of the world’s most admired brands in the automotive industry.
YOUR ROLE. As a Bodyshop Estimator you will provide a courteous and efficient estimating and reception service for the Bodyshop department. You will be responsible for damage assessment, negotiation, selling Smart and Bodyshop time, products, and services, and liaising with insurance companies and their engineers where appropriate. The main duties of the role include:
- Conduct thorough assessments of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of damage.
- Record a list of damages to customers' vehicles.
- Use Audatex to accurately estimate repair costs and timeframes, ensuring all necessary parts and labour are accounted for.
- Assist in the coordination of repair processes to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and technologies.
YOUR PROFILE. Proven experience as a vehicle damage assessor or similar role. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in report preparation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferable to have Audatex accreditation. Valid clean UK driving license and must be eligible to work in the UK.
