They are looking to hire consultants specializing in AI and Indoor Positioning at our Edinburgh Research Centre. This systems-focused team seeks engineering-oriented researchers passionate about building innovative software solutions for smartphone users. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in research or engineering, particularly in data and AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:- Develop alternative navigation systems to GNSS for pedestrians and vehicles
- Analyze geospatial data using feature recognition, clustering, classification, and dimensionality reduction
- Contribute to core components of next-generation localization and positioning systems
- Advance cooperative SLAM and AI-driven solutions for handheld devices
- Maximize indoor geospatial data modeling potential
- Drive innovation in positioning and navigation technologies
- Collaborate with academic and industry experts in Edinburgh and across the UK
- Expertise in sensor fusion, signal processing, SLAM, and machine learning
- Hands-on research/engineering experience in at least one relevant domain
