A well-established professional services firm based in Warwick is seeking a skilled Technical Accountant to provide technical support to its internal Accounts Team. The role involves managing year-end accounts and ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Job Overview

  • Prepare and submit year-end accounts for Limited Companies.
  • Manage financial records and accounts for complex structures including consolidated entities.
  • Provide timely technical advice to the Accounts Team.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant financial records and internal controls.
  • Support external audit processes.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and avoid financial penalties.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Accounting.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in practice and ideally qualified (ACCA or ACA).
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and technical accounting.
  • Proficient in SAGE, IRIS, XERO, Accountancy Manager, and Microsoft Office.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Discreet handling of confidential information.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £28,000- £35,000 (DOE).
  • Working hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:00 and Friday: 09:00 - 16:00.
  • Holiday Package: 20 days + 8BH.
  • Bonus: Quarterly, post-probation.
  • Healthcare: Private BUPA cover.
  • Pension: Company scheme.
  • Parking: Free on-site.
  • Working Style: Office-based (ad-hoc flexibility for appointments).
