Huntswood currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Advisor – Wealth & Investment to join our busy advisory team based out of our Reading office on a hybrid basis, with some UK travel. Reporting to the Director of Advisory Services, you will be Huntswood’s senior technical expert in Wealth and Asset Management, Investments, and Pensions, as well as a willingness to contribute to wider compliance projects i.e. Consumer Duty, Complaints reviews, and Remediation. You will identify opportunities and deliver projects across conduct and operational risk. These projects/engagements will include: Identifying gaps in regulatory obligations or opportunities for improvement Transforming capabilities or making incremental improvements Implementing and embedding regulatory change Providing independent assurance that you are on the right track Helping to put things right when they go wrong The successful Senior Technical Advisor will have: Expert knowledge and experience in Financial Services regulation, Conduct Risk related issues and extensive experience across the Wealth and Asset Management sector Comprehensive and detailed understanding of the FCA, including both current and emerging issues affecting firms.
