As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for those considering a career in teaching or education, especially recent graduates or individuals with experience working with young people. The role involves: Supervising classes and ensuring pupils remain on task Delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects Managing behaviour in line with school policy Providing feedback on student behaviour and engagement You’ll need: Confidence managing a classroom setting Strong communication and organisational skills A calm, adaptable, and professional attitude If you’re looking to gain valuable experience in schools and are confident managing groups of young people, this could be the perfect next step.
