We are working with a European family office to place an investment professional into their London-based team. The family office has a strong record in industrials and infrastructure and is beginning to expand their portfolio in the renewable energy markets.
The ideal candidate would have closed deals across Europe with exposure to the sectors mentioned above. Our client is willing to sponsor candidates; however, they will not relocate professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and executing private and public investment opportunities
- Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on potential investments
- Prepare investment committee materials and internal decision-making support
- Perform market, sector, and competitive research to support investment theses
- Engage with fund managers and co-investment partners as part of the firm’s private markets strategy
- Support portfolio monitoring and contribute to strategic initiatives across existing holdings
- 18-24 months of experience in M&A investment banking at a leading financial institution
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; detail-oriented with sound judgment
- High degree of integrity, intellectual curiosity, and a long-term investment mindset
- Self-starter capable of working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
- Demonstrated interest in principal investing, private equity, or asset management
