Day/Night Shift Care Assistant-Bexhill TN39

Overview

Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking carers for 12-hour shifts to join our team supporting a female client in her home in Bexhill on Sea (TN39). The client has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, scoliosis, and learning disability. The home is equipped with hoists and an accessible bath to meet daily needs. During the day, the client requires two carers and enjoys daily outings in her accessible vehicle. At night, a sleeping carer will be on hand to assist the waking night carer as needed. This is a compassionate team that works closely with the client and her family to keep routines engaging and fulfilling.

This role offers a rota of 3-5 or more shifts per week. If eligible, you may join our Standby rota, working conveniently from home. Comprehensive training is provided to equip you to excel in your caregiving role.

Job type: Day Shifts: 8-20; Sleeping/Waking Night shifts: 20-8; Pay rate: £15.29-18.35 per hour; more on bank holidays.

Driver: Carer must be a confident driver with a clean driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Observe and record the client’s health status.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Ensure the client’s safety.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Notify clients of changes in medications.
• Arrange transportation for client appointments.
