My client is seeking an immediate Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with numbers, and has a strong understanding of financial processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client monies, credit control, and purchase ledger tasks, among other duties.
Day-to-day of the role:

Reconcile client monies and ensure accurate financial records.

Manage credit control processes to ensure timely payment of invoices.

Handle purchase ledger duties, including processing invoices and payments.

Prepare rental statements and transfer client monies as required.

Process agent fees and handle related financial transactions.

Liaise with Property Managers and the Accounts team to reconcile bank accounts.

Process incoming and outgoing deposits, maintaining accurate records.

Proven experience in an accounts assistant role or similar.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
