We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Senior Engineer to join our Quality function. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality planning, maturation, and approval of all high-priority bought-in parts. The successful candidate will drive supplier quality improvements, resolve complex technical issues, and support supplier nomination decisions based on robust performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality planning activities in line with project milestones, including risk assessments, QTR facilitation, and application of quality tools.
- Lead part maturation and approval processes, ensuring alignment with design specifications and quality standards.
- Drive achievement of product quality targets for pre-series and series production, escalating risks as required.
- Monitor and improve supplier performance, lead root cause analyses, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Support or deputise for the Supplier Quality Manager in operational and strategic deliverables.
Key Interfaces:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, and Quality teams.
- Engage directly with external suppliers and stakeholders across the wider Group.
