Overview:
- Location: Onsite role in Harlow, UK (May require some travel)
- Shift: Standard day shift, 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
- Duration: 5 month contract - possibility of extension or conversion (PAYE position inside IR35)
- Pay: £325 per day
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scope: Primary on-site POC team during deployment of engineering solutions
- Travel: Onsite 75%-100% during project deployment at any delivery station in UK/IE
- Project planning:
- Field verification of drawings and identifying interferences with existing/new equipment
- Raise MCMs for different project phases, and address concerns, if any, from different approver groups, prior to start of works onsite.
- Set-up and manage daily calls with vendors and OPS. Provide daily report summary to UK PM.
- Site visits to verify project progress and gather stakeholder/customer feedback. Frequency of site visits to be agreed with UK PM. Proactively address any concerns during these site visits. Escalate to UK PM as needed.
- Manage any ordered materials (signage, racking) to be received onsite, inventory and identify any gaps. Coordinate to transport materials to provide labour for the material movement and install.
- Coordinate with IT, obtain IDF keys and monitor IDF cabinets during data cable terminations. Validate cable installation and functionality with IT.
- Supporting UK PM during site acceptance tests (4-5d continuous onsite presence)
- Obtain all documentation from vendor and validate list against vendor deliverables. Validate basic document content.
- Transfer all documentation to appropriate storage location.
Requirements:
- Working experience in Industrial, Mechanical, Process Engineering or equivalent
- Working experience as Project Manager of medium complex projects
- Proficiency in tools: AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel
