An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled architect or interior designer to step into a newly-created Technical Coordinator role with a luxury furniture and joinery business in London working on high quality projects. Client Details This role has been created following several years of growth within an Italian luxury furniture and joinery business. The opportunity is within their London team which is involved in high profile luxury projects across the hospitality and residential sectors. They are offering a fantastic opportunity to be involved in projects in an end-to-end role and to grow your career with the business as they continue to expand. Description As the Technical Coordinator your key responsibilities will be: – To coordinate the drafting of shop drawings from the concept designs – Engage closely with the interior design team to ensure the project is delivered in line with design – Oversee quality during the manufacturing process (visits to the production site in Italy will be required) – Coordinate the handover of the project to the site team for installation Profile A successful Technical Coordinator should have: A design background (architecture, engineering, or interior design) Experience of FF&E design, ideally with technical drawing experience for free standing furniture and joinery Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate with varying levels of stakeholders Italian language fluencyJob Offer This is a fantastic role offering project variety, a great office working environment, and quality engagement with the interior design team for prestigious projects.
