Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of disaster recovery testing and ensure this is being conducted based on data center standards.
  • Ensure high business impact project goals are successfully met and delivered.
  • Own and manage end-to-end key business metrics.
  • Perform risk assessment to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, rules & regulations, and data center standards.
  • Act as the liaison during the yearly audit with an external agency and ensure all of the organization's deliverables are met by working with the internal stakeholders. Escalate as necessary when deliverables are not being met on time.
  • Identify and drive automation & process improvement opportunities across catalog quality workflows and reporting.
  • Assess process improvement & transformation opportunities and partner with process owners & stakeholders to scope opportunities, define problem statements and objectives, and structure projects and teams.
  • Manage complex and quick-turn projects while demonstrating exceptional business judgement.
  • Train, coach, and mentor Network Operations teams to empower them with leveraging operations tools and systems to meet daily business needs.
  • Work cross functionally with other team members and groups within the organization.
  • Develop strong, productive relationships across peer organization that further the organization's business objectives.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial / Electrical Engineering, computer engineering, telecommunication engineering, computer science or business-related field from an accredited university OR 5-10 years Experience in operations and engineering.
  • OR 5-10 years Management experience leading teams or groups and developing others.
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented, organized and ability to consolidate data analysis and present to large scale groups.
  • Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining large scale enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Create strategic infrastructure roadmap including on-premise, hybrid, and cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Some travel anticipated.
